I know damzels r the devil, but in the past i had afew dominos and a blacktail humbug all at the same time with no problem at all, I no longer have them, but am considering getting afew again.
Do u think it was just good luck that they where peaceful, or r domino damzels and blacktail humbugs an acception 2 the 'AGGRESSIVE' rule?
Any idea?
thanx

You definitely got lucky...but what were the tank mates? I have a domino in with a couple of puffers and a trigger and it does fine. Damsels are great
, but you can't be careless with the mates IMO.

I would think most of these would be able to hold there own with the damsel aside the dottyback...just because I have no experience with a dottyback, and have never really researched them as far as tempermant.

Depends on the size of the Foxface too. They are very peaceful.

I have a damsel in with my humu humu and he is doing fine . He has grown about 3/4" since I got him about 4-5 months ago. I actually enjoy him a lot . He is very active and adds to the tank .

We have a yellowtail in our 90gal aggressive. He was the last fish in (actually from my 29gal teardown) and is probably the lowest rung in the tank. Keeps to himself, though the white-tailed pygmy angel (simiilarly colored) loves to chase him. I also had a domino in my previous 125gal predator attempt, and he chased the small Porkfish and my breams all the time.
