Danger or not?

Hello!
I am just getting started in the saltwater aquarium world (In other words, a real newbie!).
I am planning to get two clownfish and a pink tip hatian anemone.
My question: If I ever add more fish in the future that are not clownfish, is there a possibility that the anemone could sting... or even kill.. the other fish?
Thanks for your time!

Welcome to the "saltwater world!" First of all, being as you want a pink tip haitian anemone, are you aware that these are one of the anemones that generally won't host clowns? Clownfish are a pacific species, and the condy anemones are from the carribean, so it would be unnatural for it to host it. Have you looked into a BTA (bubble tip anemone)? If you have the lighting for a condy, you could easily keep a BTA, which a clown will host. Just out of curiosity, what kind of lighting do you use, and over what size tank? It is possible for anemones to eat fish. Even clownfish, that host the anemone, on rare occasions. Something to watch out for..

Wow! Didn't know that! I was just looking for something cheap.
As far as my tank and lighting, I don't have anything yet! I have been just researching. So far, I like the 24gal Nano Cube best to start.

Welcome!
IME, basic lighting will support a BTA, but I would suggest (Strongly) looking into at least T5. I kept my BTA under basic tubes (help me guys, I don't know the abbreviations) for almost 1 1/2 years before I could upgrade to the T5's - but huge difference and worth every penny. The BTA has opened further and looks healthier after just two weeks.
Anemones can sting, that's the nature. Fortunately I think that instinct is very strong in fish that they steer clear of the anemone. I never had a problem until recently.
In a 24 gal, I don't know that the space would provide the comfort level that everyone might need. I've seen several 24's on the nano sight. You might check and see what folks are doing there.

yes, go with a bta over a pink tip haitian. jmo
but before you buy lighting, post the wattage & such on here and someone should be quick to tell you whether that's enough.
it's probably good that you're trying to be thrifty, too. that will keep you from rushing the setup process. it's a long process and those that have money in their pockets tend to be impatient and rush things that shouldn't be rushed.
welcome to the boards. my theory is that for every hour you spend on these boards in the beginning stages of setting up a tank, you'll make one less potentially disastrous mistake  . have fun and ask questions.
