dangers switching salt brands?

my corals and inverts/fish seem quite happy. the sps and lps grow at a nice rate, and nothing seems the least bit stressed. my maintenance regimen is also quite simple. a waterchange a week. i don't need a calcium reactor, even though my tank is heavily populated by mature sps colonies.
i'm not going to change a thing

yes..i glanced at it. it seems as though every study done on salt mixes has different results.

I switched from IO to Oceanic a LONG time ago. I didn't do anything special. I just switched over. I wouldn't recommend doing a 50% change with new salt, but I didn't have a problem with my normal routine. At the time it was 10% per week.

I've been using IO, but an lfs suggested I switch to Red Sea Coral Pro made especially for RO/DI water. Anyone have good or bad to say. They claim they saw a significant difference in growth in their corals. So I bought a small bucket to give it a try. I'll at least take the precaution of doing a small water change.
