Im getting a dark green velvet looking algea on my LR in my reef tank, this stuff really looks like velvet, will this be ok or should I be trying to control it before it gets out of hand. Thanks looking forward to your input.
My daughter's tank had the same kind of algea, not much, but enough. We went in tonight and got rid of it (for now) by scooping it out with a small net. We're hoping this was just "new tank syndrome". We'll see...
