Well I have this 35 gallon cichlid tank, conviks or sometimes called jellybean cichlids. Had tons of babies, I just made arrangements with the LFS to drop all of them off. This morning I wake up go to feed these buggers and there are more babies in the tank. I can't win I wanted to get rid of them, and the worst thing is my son saw them so now we have to raise them, I am thinking angel fish food - need the room to set up the SH tank.

I remember those days. My Africans used to breed like rabbits. I always just let nature take it's course. Free fish food.

This reminded me of something at work. We had a pair of jewel cichlids that spawned in the tank. We took out all the fish except for the parents and babies. The babies actually grew to full size in the tanks, which is awesome since most of the babies end up becoming fish food (honestly in with over 100 tanks it becomes survival of the fittest). It's neat watching the fry grow up.

I wish banggai fry were as easy as cichlid fry - today I took all the bigger one's out and left mom and dad and babies, I have too many tanks.
