Dart Sequence pump issue

I turn the pump off to feed the fish. I turned it back on and could hear the motor wanting to work but no water movement.
It has been in service for 2 1/2 years with no issues.
Does this sound like the pump is on it's way out or needs some type of service?

Fishy...You might want to pm Acrylic51. I believe he has serviced/rebuilt some of the sequence pumps. It does sound like a maintenance issue. even if it 'turns over' this time it sounds like it may give you a problem soon. Also, the sequence people are excellent to deal with on the phone.
I run two hammerheads and have been very happy with them. Sequences are quite rebuilable/serviceable I understand.

Great thanks for the info. I will take you suggestion. It did finally start after an on off on off on off deal. I am not turning that pump off till I find out what the deal is. I will also give sequence a call and see what they suggest. I have been real happy with the performance. May upgrade to the barrcuda wile it may be out of service.
