I remember from one of your previous posts that you have a purple lobster in your seahorse tank. Do you feed him or is he just part of the cleanup crew? I'm trying to determine if I should be feeding mine or not. He is in my seahorse tank.
Thanks!

He is both. I occasionally (and I stress occasionally) feed him myself. Maybe once a months. He spends most of his time hidden in crevices that I can't get to. I can see him (my tank is clear on both sides now) But I can't get to him. He fends for himself pretty well. I have had him for three years now.
I wouldn't recommend one personally for seahorses. They can use their claws on the seahorse tail. Just some FYI.

Mine has only grown to about 5 inches in 3 years. Must take a VERY long time. But honestly, they will max out at about 6 inches from what I have read.
