haha, well lucky you!
it can just tend to snuff out zoos if not taken care of...where as how often do you see cyano cover mushrooms, etc?

very true! LOL
I have been very lucky with all of them that I have had I havent had any of the preditors. just heard of them. I usually got my zoas from trades from people that knew and took precautions against them so thats probably why I havent had that problem.

the two Bad varaities of asterina starfish.
of the three commonly seen varieties of asterina starfish in our aquariums the one generally found is harmless and consumes algal film and is very commonly encountered, the second most common though still rare has a distinct taste for zoanthids and other soft corals. the third and rarest has a taste for none other than our prized SPS. an image would be useless as they all look alike and you cannot tell them apart by eye, there is no discernable difference from one species to the next on coloration, number of arms etcetera. fortunatly since the bad types are rare and these stars move slowly IF some one encounters a problem its quite easy to pick them out by hand.

it can still be added with a tag line of needing a photo of the fungus on the zoas.
I will get these added soon.
