I think this daylight savings time is a bunch of garbage. Just trying to get everyone else's opinion.

i think it helps the children by moving around when it gets dark so they can play outside longer, but otherwise its rubbish

i like the fact it stays lighter later... mid summer the sun doesnt go down til 10 pm here... i personally think that we should just stick with DST...

I love DST !! Summer light stays out longer. I don't knoiw why this is such a big deal to everyone. It's just only an hour - get over it and adapt to it !

Yeah, I thought I was the only one with this sentiment. I don't care about it really at all.

Not surea about you guys but my computer is working fine..They flipped out here at the office last Friday and had us download all these useless patches, and hired an outside tech team to make sure everything went fine

I don't mind DST so much, but that one hour change in my sleep schedule is horribly hard to get used to. So sleepy!

I do not want to go to work at nite. And I'm sure most parents prefer that the sun be out when they leave their children at the the bus stop, which was certainly not the case for many this morning.
Somehow, I think time is going to happen, so why do we have to try a fiddle with it?

I patched all my servers on Friday and all my workstations this morning. No problems though... I think the only thing that got affected was the time stamp on a few emails that people sent out this morning before I got in and patched them. I can't believe your company actually hired an outside firm to oversee the patching. Sure wish I had thought of that.. Could have made some nice extra money for almost no work!!!!

I patched everything here on Saturday. Everything went smooth with the exception of a stupid atomic clock on the wall in our breakroom!!!! I still can't figure the dumb thing out!!!

Do you know if the DST information is stored in the clock or if it comes in via the signal it gets from the atomic clock?

I believe it syncs it from the atomic clock. To set it up. You just push the appropriate time zone button on the back. This makes the clock go to either 12 4 or 8 oclock. Then overnight it syncs automatically.
