that is possible. I have heard of horses tring to snick worms, and dieing. I have also read that people have not been having luck with kelloggi lately.
Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. I just recently lost my Kelloggi. You story sounds almost identical to mine, except I don't have worms. Very odd indeed...one day fine...two days latter gone.

The one thing I found off with my water levels was my PH. It was 7.8. My seahorse was showing signs of discomfort and keep twisting as if trying to itch itself. Low PH levels can cause fish to swim as if "drunk". Given seahorses' low stress tolerance, it would only take a day or two for the seahorse to sucom to the water imbalance. I hope we can all put our heads together an figure out why our healthy seahorses are dropping like flies.

Larry, I'm very sorry for your loss...I know it really hits hard. I'm not really versed as far as kelloggi are concerned, but I have read that they are a bit more difficult to keep... not sure why though.
Again, I'm sorry for your loss, especially when you're doing everything recommended and taking your time with them. Is there any way that you can contact the breeder?

no to the breeder, i got them from a lfs independently owned, gives me great deals and helps me out all the time. but i did get a kuda i believe it is,from a different place, and it is doing great she seems to eat a lot better than the other 2 so who knows , everything else is doing great. the pipe fish is growing and eats a lot. i have read that kelloggis are harder, but i didnt read that until after the fact. but i am going to stick with it and see how it goes, i had growing pains when i started my reef 5 years ago, and now it is great. thanks for all the help and kind words.
