I have a 55 gallon and he is under these lights:
Two 65 watt 10,000K and two 65 watt True Actinic 03 Blue straight pin base compact fluorescent lamps
Four 3/4 watt Lunar Blue-Moon-Glow LED lamps
Water is fine. Everything is zero (Ammo, Ni, Na) PH is 8.0-8.2

Sorry to hear it Paul. Thats 2 down. :nope:
I advise you not to try another one until your tank is fully 6 months old and more stable. During that time you will be able to do more research and learn about how your own tank evolves.

I agree....no way I am going to let another one die....
What are the likely causes of this?
Would it also not be safe to put Corals in there?

Well corals are a bit different than anemones, usually a month after you cycle you can start adding corals. However you will be the ultimate expert on your own tank, therefore you will be the one to notice when alkalinity falls or calcium goes to high, or nitrates start to build. You will need to keep track of all of that and more as your tank matures, you will know its fluxuations and how to control them. If things are stable at the 6 month period then perhaps you may try again with the anemone.

PS. Start with easy corals, xenia is a good one, as you learn this coral you will know that you can watch it for water quality problems, sometimes corals just speak to you about your water and for me xenia is one of them.

took a water sample to the LFS and he said the problem was my PH.
I guess it was topping out around 8...
when he tested it, it was 7.8
