i have 2 blue damsels which have been thriving in my new 46 gallon tank for the last couple of days.... I bought home a domino damsel today.. a couple of hours later i found it dead in my power filter intake..
could it have been sucked up, or was just shocked and was not strong enough to swim away from the intake.. ?

its not fully cycled yet, but the pet store guy it should be ok to get a couple of damsels to help with the cycle..
On the strength of the head,, the other damsels are doing fine with the power head..

I once bought a 2-2.5 inch Queen Angel...put her in my tank...next day found her sucked into the inlet of a power head...removed her from there...but the damage was too extensive and she died a day later...wasn't anything to do with an acclimation or otherwise problem...she simply got too close to the power head intake...learned from this error.
