dead pink tip

I lost my pink tip yesterday morning, was curious will it kill the live rock? because one of the pieces it was close to is turning somewhat white.

you know for a fact that its dead? check your water to see if it didnt pollute it, because it will if it died. are your sure thats not part of the anemone as it disintegrated? and if this coraline that turned white the i would check alkalinity and other parameters

it polluted, had to do major water change and detox. but only one of the rocks is is changing, today i would say almost pinkish color.

Keep testing nitrates.. most likely you will need to do 30%+ water changes every 3 days for a couple of weeks to get them down.. Anenomes are very toxic when they die.
