dead snail

I think one of my nass snails died in my 5.5g. I can see 3 of the 4. One of those 3 hasent moved all day and is sucked up in his shell. One of my 2 cerith snails is also missing. How bad would it be for my tank if one of the snails did die? could it wipe my tank?

Sometimes my snails wont move for a couple days, they are most likely fine.

As long as theyre still suctioned to whatever theyre on, its alive. If a snail dies in a pico like that, Id say not the end of the world, just a small nitrate reading, due to small water volume. No big deal, just keep up normal water changes and youll be fine

ok cool i was afraid ti would cause a big ammonia spike or something because i remember reading in some thread on a different forum someone suspected a dead snail to be the cause of a tank crash on their like 3 gallon so i was worried.
