Dead turbo snails?

I have had an algae problem for a while, so I purchused 3 turbo snails today. I floated the bag in my 37 gallon tank for 10 minutes and then opened the bag. All 3 snails are attatched to each other, and are now not moving. I know snails aren't active, but they haven't moved for an hour. Help!

First off , I acclimate my snails just like I do fish... They can be bothered by a change in salinity , temp, etc...
I doubt if they are dead , give them a few hours , with the lights off and I would be will to bet they are ok...

Snails most often "do their thing" when the lights go off. Just acclimate them into the water and by nighttime I'm sure they will take off and start munching!

In the future, you may want to have the lights OFF when introducing snails to your tank. As said above, they are far more active at night and with the lights off, they will more likely become active once properly acclimated.

Thank you all! The snails finally moved about a day later. They are living, and happy cleaning up my algae problem. Thanks again! :)
