Dear America: In 2016 could you please elect a white, male, straight, Christian for President of the United States...

This is an open letter to America:

Dear fellow Americans. With 2016 quickly approaching, we've all got a big decision to make regarding who we vote for as the new President of the United States of America. While there is a good chance that Hillary Clinton will be running as the first major female candidate, I ask that you simply applaud her efforts, but look in a different direction. Also, there's a pretty good chance (especially in the primary cycle) that a strong minority candidate will emerge as well. While it would be great to see an openly gay, Asian, transgendered, or disabled President, I can confidently say the time is just not right.

So here is my request to you. When it comes time for you to cast that vote, please do it responsibly. And by that, I mean please choose the candidate who is white, straight, male, and Christian. Why so specific you ask? Is it because I'm racist? Nope. Biased towards a certain gender? Not even a little. Think a Christian would do best in the Oval Office? Nope, that's not it either.

Over the past five years, I have seen a large number of articles, opinion pieces, blog entries, and especially Facebook posts which refer to the racist, communist, socialist, Muslim that we now apparently have in office. While I'm not completely aware of this person whom bigoted middle America is referring, I can only assume that based on the sheer number of instances I have heard about him and his family; that he must in fact exist. If you read these articles/posts, it's pretty obvious that he is solely responsible for the decline of America (as we used to know it).

By electing a white, straight, male, Christian President; we can all rest assured that things in this country will once again go back to the way it used to be. Jobs will flow like water, there will be peace in the middle east (and elsewhere), racial harmony will erupt in the streets, and welfare will go back to helping those who truly need it, and not be a primary income source for the lazy blacks like now.

Thanks in advance for your understanding that we need to take this country back, and change things for the good once and for all!

p.s. - If for some reason, after the new white, straight, male, Christian President takes office; and the same s**t keeps happening... Could you maybe all pull your heads out of your collective butts, and realize that the President has very little to do with how this country is run. I know it's hard to grasp, but just maybe the same extremely rich and powerful people who are calling the shots now, will be the same ones calling the shots in 2016 and beyond. In fact, they may have been the same ones calling the shots for the better part of the past three decades. Once you realize that, perhaps you can elect people who are willing to make changes on a grander scale, especially at the local levels. If you spend your days thinking that Obama is the reason this country is failing, then you are part of the bigger problem. Not only are you part of said problem, but you look like a narrow-minded, bigoted, racist in the meantime.

At worst, when the new guy takes over in 2016, and nothing changes, could you at least nail him to the wall too? Or would that not fit the agenda most of you are trying to push?

The author of this letter is a complete imbecile...No offense. Lincoln had very little to do with eradicating slavery, JFK had very little to do with equal rights, Clinton had very little to do with balancing a budget and boosting the economy, Reagan had nothing to do with the fall of U.S.S.R. and bring this country out of one of the worst recessions in history, Nixon had nothing to do with the Environmental consciousness we have today, Eisenhower had nothing to do with our vast highway system or the furthering of equal rights, not to mention ending a war as well as balancing our budget on three occasions....Need I go on?
I also hope the author of this letter is willing to vote out their current congressman for failing them as well, regardless of the views of the opponent running against them, since their congressman has failed them as well. I also bet the author complained about the last white, christian, male in the white house....even though he didn't really run the country.

Personally, I think Chernobyl brought the USSR down. Irony at its best.

If you notice, I said in the past three decades. Long gone are the days of a President actually making significant, long lasting change. It's just like Obamacare. You don't think the first thing that will happen when the republican gets in the White House will be it's repeal?

I absolutely voted for an independent for the last two Ohio congressional votes, as well as my local representatives. And lastly, which I'm guessing is a dig against W Bush... yes, I complained "slightly", but that was because his family and immediate administration had direct ties with Saudi Oil, and Haliburton contractors. They were profiting from their political and legislative agenda. And that by no means is only on Bush. Almost every politician, from the congressmen and senators, all the way down to your township trustees; have their hand in the cookie jar. That was my whole point with this post. It doesn't make much of a difference who is in office, because the money trail is the only thing that talks. Period.

I pointed out several things presidents have been responsible for that occurred in the last three decades. The president alone can not repel obamacare, and if it is working and public opinion says they like it, the president won't....The problem isn't the politicians or the people elected for these positions, the proplem is the people electing them.....This country always has gotten what it deserves based off its voting history............
Going by your logic, since the rich and powerful behind the scenes wanted obamacare, why would the next President repel it? especially since he doesn't run the country. There is a flaw in your thinking.
Could you maybe all pull your heads out of your collective butts, and realize that the President has very little to do with how this country is run.

That's my whole point, the rich and powerful don't want Obamacare, so it will be gone. And if it's not gone, it will be changed enough that the people in the insurance and health care companies who were making billions and billions of dollars with the "current" system, will still make their money. Insanely rich people don't get insanely rich by laying down and playing by the rules. They get insanely rich by getting legislation changed to make them as much money as possible. Mark my words, even if Obamacare sticks, you can bet your hat that the big players in insurance and health care will still get theirs.

This entire statement contradicts your previous statement.

People pay big bucks to get presidents into office. In return presidents do their best to satisfy those debts while they're there. Slap your competitors with heavy regulation and grant exemptions to your supporters. The current president is a gross example of this while he drives us ever deeper into debt. I don't know why people continue to defend him so after what we have or haven't seen from him. He's lost a lot of support and criticism comes along with the job no matter who you put in there.

Asa business owner let me put this in a perspective you can understand.
The U.S. government passes a law requiring all U.S. citizens eat cupcakes once a week or pay a Tax. In this law, it dictates you must increase the size of your cupcakes made by 25-35%. You also must use specific ingredients that cost you 30% more as well. The government will provide those that can't afford cupcakes with a subsidy to help them afford then. Now, your product is a national requirement...due to the law, your product has had its manufacturing cost increased. So what are you going to do? You have no choice but to raise your prices, but this ok since you know all citizens now have to by cupcakes. And the government will even pay for some of these citizens cupcakes.
Lets say you made 400 thousand with your cupcakes last year netting you a profit of 100 thousand...Your costs have now increased 40%..Now it costs you 420 thousand, so do you raise your price to offset the 40% loss? Or do you not raise your prices and operate at an extreme loss...do you only raise your prices 20% and reduce your overall profits from before? This doesn't cover all the costs incurred in making the recipes, and making sure you are cupcarecare compliant either....Just to maintain your current lifestyle/profitability, you would be forced to raise prices accordingly....Now imagine there are only five other cupcake makers in your entire state......

Look, I get what you are saying, and especially how you feel. And by no means am I "Occupy Wall Street" guy...

I just see a country where (regardless of who is in the Oval office) the debt keeps climbing. We keep voluntarily raising our debt limits by acts of congress. Ask anyone on Main Street how they have done over the past five to seven years, and you will for the most part get a resounding "not so great" at best. There are less jobs, less security, less hope, less opportunity, and an overall feeling of "ahh f**k it" in this country. That's not all on Obama, or Bush, or Clinton. I feel like Reagen was the last president where people felt a sense of national pride, and that they had a chance to do something with their lives.

Now, we have a country chalk full of crappy, low paying jobs. We have an education system that is failing miserably. I read story after story about how major American companies have no choice but to go overseas for their engineers, because the US isn't producing enough degrees stateside. You have a third of the country who find it easier and more affordable to take government handouts as opposed to going out and getting one of those crappy, low paying jobs. A staggering 40% of workers in America make less than $20,000 a year. For the first time ever, more than 50 million people in this country live below the poverty line. Household incomes have been declining for five consecutive years, while consumer credit is up 22% in that same time frame. Based on all of this, you would think that the financial bolts that hold this country together would be falling apart. You would think that the wealthy people who own the businesses, and companies would be losing out too. But boy would you be wrong.

The Dow has this month been setting record high closing after record high closing. On average the D.C. region actually has the highest standard of living of any major U.S. city. The reason for this is the obscene growth of the federal government. Over the past couple of decades, the U.S. government has ballooned in size and so have government salaries. During one recent year, the average federal employee living in the Washington D.C. area received total compensation worth more than $126,000. The top 7% in this country now own a record 63% of the wealth. This is the highest it has ever been. The wealthiest 1% have more than the bottom 90% combined, again an all time record. In 1980, CEOs at S&P 500 companies made on average 42 times as much as their employees did on average. Today, CEOs at S&P 500 companies make 355 as much as their employees do on average. In fact, there are many CEOs that make more than 1,000 times what the average employees in their companies make.

Obviously there is something very wrong
here, and it all originates with who our elected officials are. Again, Obama/Bush/Clinton are all figureheads to a system that has been quietly transforming to increase the wealth of a very small number of people, while leaving everyone else out in the cold. At some point, all hell will break loose, and I just hope I'm dead and gone before we get to that point. I'm by no means a Doomsday prepper, but the day is coming sooner or later... it has to.

I dont disagree that things will come crashing down. It is inevitable. The stock market is a false level. The fed keeps pumping money into it in various fashions and has maintained low interest rates. But the fed will have to stop doing all this soon and we will see a significant correction of the market. What we are seeing in the stock market is just another bubble, the bubble will burst within the next two years again.

We need to elect someone with a spine and a brain. 0bama is a thug, not a leader and his intelligence is greatly overestimated. You gotta give Clinton credit for seeing the writing on the wall and changing direction. 0bama is blinded by his own arrogance.

Concur, and because he was elected by a majority it gives an indication to the type of culture we have now. We will have an economic depression of the magnitude that the US has never seen within the next 30 years and the Chinese will own this country.

Personally I would like to see someone like Jessie Ventura as President.

Donald Trump is white, straight, male, and Christian. So are half the members of the Westboro Baptist Church.

Race, gender, and sexual preference have nothing to do with intelligence. In fact, I can tell you many people who are white, straight, male, and Christian who would make absolute shit presidents.

Honestly, you are just a racist, sexist, homophobic dumbass. Any questions?

EDIT: Reading over this again, your lack of intelligence is amazing. You are contradicting yourself on things that you pulled out of your ass....

Change is innevitable here. Ultimately the balance of power will shift or coalesce into a more dominant form of government that encompasses all nations. It won't matter who you think you're voting for in the U.S. People will be selected and chosen to lead not by the majority but by those who see fit to have their debts satisfied. Unless American Citizens can recognize why we are here in the first place then we as a free nation are already doomed.

I think the o.p. was actually being sarcastic with the post. A little reverse psychology on his part. He's really not racist lol.
Or is he?

I have to give the guy credit. The title is thought provoking. Speaking of racism and haters the new catch words of today. There was a lawsuit filed on the behalf of rats. The rats claim that the word "Rat" is racist. They want to be referred to as Rodent Americans.

The attorneys for the mice said that the use of the word "rat" is protected by their 1st amendment right to free speech.

Squirrels no longer want to be called nut huggers anymore either.
