DEATH MATCH!!

<img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" /> i looked into my tank a couple of minutes ago and saw my two hermit crabs fighting it out on the l/r! is this normal!?? <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" /> next question: i'm starting to see tiny white fuzzy starfish w/ six or more arms. no, i did not purchase them, they must have come in on the live rock that was introduced into the tank in feb'02. are these guys good or bad for the reef environment? <img src="graemlins//confused2.gif" border="0" alt="[confused2]" /> <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

I usually breakup the cat fights between hermits when I can. Sure in the wild they would fight to the death but they aren't in the wild... :)

I usually grab a chair. I rarely interfer with the habits of the life in my reef. Though I will fend for the corals. They are alot like the kid who always got his lunch money took. DEFENSELESS. I have only had a couple of events that have forced me to do so. All my hemits killed each other. Now there is just one left. And it will stay that way. He wanted to be the king of the castle, and so be it.
 
The crab thing is normal. BUT, the starfish are really bad for a reef tank! check this out<a href="http://garf.org" target="_blank">web page</a>. go to the search and put in, "predatory starfish". trust me, i had them too! they are heartless little
