Decorater Crab in a reef???

A podnuh of mine is wanting to add a decorator crab to his 29 reef tank. Is this a good idea or not, in your experience???? replys appreciated.

Just remember that decopator crabs take things from around the reef to decorate themselves. This includes algae, shells, and corals. The have a tendency to pick at the corals that you treasure. I have know people who keep them no problem.
 
I had one several years ago. It would rip up anything it could to decorate itself...including, but not limited to, anenome tenticles and coral polyps. IME.
