Decorator Crab

Without doing any research (not wise), I purchsed a decorator crab for my reef tank.
I was advised by the staff that he should be ok in a reef tank. Does anyone know if they will eat corals? The only thing I have noticed is that he has attached a few mushrooms to his shell.

The problem is with this type of crab they use sponges, soft corals anything they can get their claw onto, they are better in bigger tanks. I love them and never had any problems with my Sps. I would consider them to be reef safe with caution. If you spend 60 dollors on a nice blue sponge you might not like seeing it wandering around your tank.

I think they are awesome and I think you will too. There are pros and cons I guess. They are going to harvest some zoos mainly but they are pretty much just fragging it and putting it on their back. They won't hurt whole colonies and mine has even spread some frags to other parts of the tank which I appreciate. The only con I had with mine is that some of my frags that were glued to rock he managed to knock down to where I couldn't get.
