decorator crabs

i have 4 decorator crabs..last night i noticed the underside of one of them was bright red and fat...what is this? thanks

It is pregnant.But don't expect them to have babies unless your fish aren't egg eaters,which most are.What fish do you have?

thats what i thought, i have a percula clown, dragon wrasse and a niger trigger 50 gal tank with 80lbs of rock so maybe some will survive thanks for the reply

Yeah,right.The trigger and dragon wrasse wil eat every single eat in sight!

Sounds like you got plenty of hiding places. You could very well get lucky. Try feeding the fish well for awhile(within reason)to take their hunger away from the babies.......STEVE
