Does any one know much about these?
Do they need to be feed or is adding photy max good enough?
I have one and he looks great, but want to keep him that way.

I don't have one but I've read that people put in zoo or phyto right near them to feed them "shoulder shrug"

my humble opnion they need to be left in the ocean. They do nothing but ruin water chemistry of your tank. They need to be feed heavy photoplankton or they die. They need low light. You have a heavy acclimation of nitrates and organic waste from trying to feed him. There is a big push to leave these creatures in the wild. They are consider one of the hardest coral to keep. you need to more extensive water changes and a big refuge will help.
good luck.

As was said, they need to be fed almost every few hours with heavy doses of zoo/phyto. Even if you can afford the food, it is difficult to maintain water chemistry and have the spare time to feed them all the time.

Well so far he looks great. I feed every other day and he has been in there a month I will keep you posted on how he is doing. Cross your fingers.
Wish I had asked before I bought. I just love the way they look.
