deep sea yellow gorgonian Q

I am not sure if my new gorgonian is doing very well, I have only seen it feeding with the polyps once in the past 3 days, Is this normal. Any information on gorgonians would be great on how to keep them alive, Thanks

I had one they are hard to keep they generally dont feed in tanks well and they dont need much light at all for they are deep water .I would just try feeding when you see him open for sure and would feed tank 2x's a week.Mine lasted for 3 months then died

Thanks for your help, How did you know when yours died mine looks like on some limbs it is turning more orange than the yellow color.

the limbs will turn orange / red and deteriate.
