Delays on receiving livestock shipments

Be patient some of the items you may have ordered could be in high demand. They will send you a confirmation e-mail once the order has been filled. There is no reason to be impatient just calmly wait it out I know it is hard because I went through it myself but it worth the wait.

I ordered an invert package a few weeks ago on a Monday and requested it that same week for Friday delivery. No problems at all, they sent an e-mail out Thurday night with tracking number and it arrived Friday morning about 10:00 am. First online order from SWF was good. Hope all other orders are just as good. Hopefully those who are waiting will get their orders soon. Good luck.

I ordered back on 2/10/02. I have sent e-mails and got the lastest reply back on 3/2 which stated that the shipment would be sent early next week. I sent another e-mail on sunday 3/10 and have not received a reply. This would be the 4th shipment from SWF. The first two came the same week. The third took 2 weeks. The livestock I have received has been very good. The third shipment actually survived a 2 day shipment with very little loss. We in Mich had a major snow storm the day they were suppose to come. If SWF can get back on quick delivery I could keep an eye on the weather to help out problems like this.

The one time I tried to order from SWF.com there was such a delay in getting the items that I went elsewhere. While they were helpful in giving me info about my order (once they finally got up with me), it took quite a bit of time to actually get a response from them.
I just don't like waiting so I went elsewhere and got the items I wanted the next day from another site which I was more than happy with. From what I hear the livestock here is excellent, but I think 2-3 weeks is a little on the long side to wait.

This is not a good experience for the buyer. On my order I requested that if there were problems to e-mail me and I would substitute. I just checked my mail and nothing coming or even a reply. This waiting sucks!!! If someone out there has connections to SWF tell them to wake up before they loose customers. Why would they not ship on a first order first ship. I'm a supervisor for warehouseing and this is an old proverb of first in, first out.

You might have noticed on the very first page of the catalog there was in big bold letters acros the top "Please expect delays of at least a week on all new orders"
High volume, high standards for health and appearance of the livestock, and as stated above climatic conditions can all lead to delays. SWF guarantees that your stuff will arrive alive, and that it will live for a period of time after it is received... selecting your products, getting them all together and happy, and mailing them out can be challenging, especially when you are a quickly growing business!
