DeMartini...help please?

hi, i am very new to the forums..i have very very many questions...i have been saving my money up for just about 4 months and have earned 500 dollars..i am going to get a oceanic 29 gallon bio-cube.
i have many questions about fish corals, etc.
i have to wait until the end of the school year to get this tank and i am just wondering if anyone would like to recommend anything else. i would like very much to create anemone fish offspring. i would need to know how to do this.
i would also need to know if about 3.1 watts per gallon is enough for any kind of anemone? if not does anyone know how i can get a mh bulb instead of a pc?
i would also like to know how to frag all types of corals...and i dont think that i want to glue the base of the coral to the LR so is there anyway to work around that in the frag process?
please post your nano pictures here...

If you'd like to learn how to breed clownfish then look around in the clownfish and anemone part of the forum and read some books on it. Good luck on your tank!

he/she said not until the end of the school year.
I would recommend at least the 70 hqi tank mount halide for the tank, preferably a 150hqi. I have 150hqi 14k bulb and I can throw in any coral. Don't get confused with making a comparison it's not watt per gallon you want to think of...it's the par value of the lighting and it's ability to penetrate through the water.
Good luck, take it slow and have fun. And remember most anemones that clowns do host in get to about 12" when fully grown and expanded and then they split etc etc. Don't look to add corals and add that anemone at least 5 months of having the tank setup and stable. anemones do much better when added to an established tank.

If you can't get a tank until the end of the year I would gather research about cycling to show your parents in hopes of getting it a bit early. Cycling the tank can take a month or two. If possible try to get the tank, LR and LS in mid April. Let it cycle until the end of the school year with the understanding /agreement with parents of NO live stock until summer. If this is a possible solution then you won't be spending the summer looking at rock and sand, but actually enjoying the benefits of adding live stock. You will also have be forced to wait for the cylce to complete unlike me and others who may have rushed a few live stock items early.
Good luck with the tank, I hope you can sway your parents.

I got myself a BioCube and I think it's very high quality construction.
If you desparately want anenome, you could look at the AquaPod HQI or retrofit the BioCube ;)
