I always read your advice because you always know what you are talking about!! I don't know if you have had any expierence with this coral but here it is- so I got a red pulsing xenia 2 days ago and I've moved it around in my tank because I cannot find the right place for it in my tank. So the question is if it is now leaning over does this mean it is going to do this because this is a process it goes through or is it doing this becaise it it damaged or dying!!!
PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :help:
-Or if anyone else has any knowledge on this coral PLEASE help me out and respond!!! :help:

well i'd leave it alone for a while, it may not get like you want if you keep moving it everywhere, you know? leave it in a spot for a while and see what happens, if after that it doesnt then move again...for me my xenia has like lower flow with lots of light....but every now and then my xenia will stop pulsing and droop a bit more than normal...but they always come back...maybe if you have a few frags or a rock with a couple stalks on it break it up and put in different places to see which one it likes better.....xenia is very hardy and lives from almost anything, but there are also those people that can't seem to keep it alive for the life of them...i dont think there is a process they go through, but especially since they are new give them time to get used to your tank...many corals can take weeks to finally get back to normal when introduced to a tank...so i'd leave it and just keep and eye on it, and after a few days it still looks the same, or worse, then move it

it should be fine...like bronco said it's stressed out from all the moving around. xenia is imo one of the easiest corals to keep. In no time at all it'll be growing crazy!...what lighting do you have?

Its a compact light that came with the aquapod. I have 1 X 27 watt dual SunPaq daylight lamp (6700K/10,000K), 1 X 27 watt dual SunPaq Actinic lamp (420nm/ 460nm), and 2 nocturnal blue lunar lights. All the lighting is in the compact hood.
Also, one of the other posts I have, I had asked "how many fish is too many fish"? I currently have a stripeless ocellarius clownfish, a midas blenny, and a yellowtail damsel. All get along very well! All my levels are normal and I wanted to add one more fish, an very little ocellarius clownfish. My LFS said that I could possibly add a fourth fish but that would be the absolute max. What do you think?

I wouldnt get another fish if I were you. Im sure that damsel would start to give you problems. If you really want another clown, I would trade in the damsel.

My damsel is VERY VERY tiny and my clownfish and blenny is much bigger. I would never get a damsel that would be bigger or get bigger than my other fish. In the close furture I plan to get a bigger better tank. The only reason I got the 12 gal was because I am I begginner and this is my practice tank, which will later become either a lionfish tank or an agressive tank!
