dendro's are bigger then sun polyps. they look exactly the same, but the dendros are bigger then the sun polyps. you will find that dendros open much more often the sun polyps. they both have to be spot fed, but the dendros are easy to feed because they are open during the day. sun polyps do not open up that much and in the late ours of the night, making it difficult to feed. i dont have any, but plan on buying dendros soon.

For sure the dendros. I have both and I am by far happy with my dendros. They are usually open all the time. I have a few photos I'm about to upload where they are fully extended and they are just beautiful!

Suns can be trained. Mine are generally open at night, but they also open during the day when I feed. When I feed I shoot a little food past them w/ the feeder, and w/in 15 mins, they're wide open, at which point I feed them.
Just my personal preference, but I wanted more yellow in my tank, and I think dendros only come in orange, where suns come in orange and yellow both.

I've seen dendros "ON SALE" for $30 per polyp!
I've seen entire colonies of suns for 35.

Yeah Dendros are expensive. I just bought one at a frag swap - 1 Head for $20. Dendros are fairly new to the market. I am sure the price will drop down the line.

I could kick myself this pass April I had a chance to get some dendros at $10.00 a polyp and didn't jump on it. I do how ever have Sun polyps and they do come out when I feed the tank.
