deniballs for nitrate reduction

just curious why couldn't a person put some of these "deniballs" in with the bio balls in the wet/dry to help reduce nitrate, is that possiible

The deniballs are just food for the bacteria that grow in anerobic conditions. They are not the bacteria itself.
Wet/Dry are aerobic and do not have the bacteria to consume nitrates.
