hey,
i have a 55 gallon reef tank with 260 total watts of PC. That is 4.7 or 5 watts per gallon. Do you think i could put a derasa clam under that lightning?

After further review...
And looking at more resources...
It appears that Dattong is correct... Apparantly the derasa os one of the easiest clams to maintain in captivity and adapts well to any type of lighting and grows rapidly.

correct my if im wrong but i was looking at derasa clams a while ago and found out a couple of things
1 is that they grow huge
2.the require placement in the sand to be happy they are not rock borrowing clams so placement mid-tank level might not make the clam happy
just a thought if anyone else has an opinon please feel free to correct me
