detaching leather coral

how would i detach my leather coral from the live rock? and how would i reatach it on another piece of live rock??

i would try to break the rock at the corals' base. take the rock out of possible and hit it right under the base of the leather with a chisel or screwdriver and hammer. then you can glue the chip of rock in a new place without gluing the leather.

You could cut it off the rock leaving some of the base on the old rock to grow a new leather. Then attach the other piece to a new piece of liverock. You can use fishing line and thread it through the base of the coral and tie it to the liverock.
