What do you recommend that will best feed on detrius? My tank has been established for a little over a year, however, I recently moved and had to start a new sand bed (LS, but not a DSB), therefore, I don't think I have any worms, etc. that will help. My livestock (55 gal.) is now only 3 damsels, a CBS, astrea snails, hermit crabs & 2 Pep. shrimp. Thanks in advance!

by the way, pretty soon you will have to two dead pepermint shrimp, your CBS will eat them

our cbs ate all ten of the pepermint shrimp within a week or so(but he waited till after the pepermints ate the aspista)...we feed the cbs too.
I'd get a star, brittle or serpent. we have both in our tank. The serpent is cool. will come out for food when I feed the fish and will eat out of my hand...he stands on two legs and waves the other three around for food...
hermit, which you have, will also feed on waste.

I think your current cleaner crew will do fine. Expecially if you have macros or marine plants in the system
