New bulbs just put in on Oct 19th. Compare this with the previous picture, this shows the importance of changing bulbs before they burn out.

real nice looking tank.
Question: What do you do when it's time to scrape off the algae and coraline off of the back glass? I find that moving my LR and coral around to get to the back glass is getting to be a pain in the keyster. Any suggestions?
thanx

I guess I am kinda weird. I don't really like the look of coraline algae on the glass. I am hoping my GSP will take over the back glass then I can have a green background. So I usually use an algae scraper to scrape the coraline off the back. As for difficulty reaching the back, I don't usually clean the spots I can't really see.
Laddy, here's my 5.5 about 3 weeks ago.

Since then, I've ditched the powerhead (way too strong) and add a few cluster dusters. The tank is basically for a pair of harlequin shrimps and some sexy shrimps. It's only gonna be a shrimp dominant tank, maybe with a few softies.
5.5g Setup:
Prism Skimmer (Not too good even for a 5.5g)
50w EBO heater
2x9w MiniAqualight - actinic and 10k
1 inch of sand
About 2lb of Vanuatu rocks so far

Thanks for the look--I've started the same tank for inverts only. I don't know what I'll be adding to it, but it's been running for a few weeks with an inch of sand, three pieces of live rock, a mini HOB, and a 25w heater. Maybe you should start a 5.5 thread?
......nice 20 though,
