Well, my first question is if it is a new coral to your tank? This is not uncommon for leathers to do this when first put in the tank. They don't like to be handled. It should with proper water movement, and chemistry straighten back up within a few days.

Had the same issue with my leather finger. I moved it around the tank way to much. Couldn't find a good spot for it considering the fact that they like good flow. Ended up trading it in to a LFS. Anonome said it best.... they do not like to be handled.

I've had a large Devil's Hand in our larger tank for 2 weeks and there are days when it's looking good and others that it's more or less laying down. From what I've heard they really don't like to be touched and moved and will be *upset* even for a few weeks.
