devils hand probs

ok....so i bought a devils hand the other day from the lfs and in there tank it was standing up straight a couple of spikes were sticking out of all of the fingers; it looked really nice. i get it home and acclimate it for about 2 hours and put it in the tank. it was all closed up and grey, not brown like in the lfs. i figured it was just stressed out a little and it would open up in a couple of hours. well that was 2 days ago. now it is still grey and is leaning over on its side, and no spikes are sticking out. i have it in moderate flow on the bottom of tank. all of my other corals are doing fine.
oh yeah.....

Leather are funny that way. When I had my algae problem mine closed up for 3 weeks now it is opened back up and looking good. My suggestion give it time. Again I've only been doing this for a year now so maybe someone else has a better idea

 mine does that too It will look good for weeks and then all of the sudden It will shrink down . sometimes it stays like that for hours some times for days. as a matter of fact it has been shrunk up for a couple of weeks and I was thinking the worst until last night I got home and it was fully extended and showing new growth

well i moved the devils hand up in my tank to a higher lighted area and a heavier flow and it seems to be doing a little better. started to shed and seems to be opening up a little more. its still a little grey in color though. we will see what happens.
