i dont know if thats normal or not.... but my new diamond goby which i just got a few days ago is now chowing down on the live rock.... is this normal for him to be looking for food other than sifting the sand???
diamond goby is eating things off live rock and not the sand anymore.. is that ok??

yes it is. You are feeding him and not jsut letting him scavenge for himself on the sand right? That will be needed if you are not.
Butmine sucks on stuff on the live rock and ive even seen him to it on the glass a few times. Just trying to get anything he could. When they are sifting sand they are actualy looking for food. So picking at live rock is jsut another way to do it.
