Diatom or Dino?

I have this brown algae spreading throughout my tank, I had a small light on my tank before and there was a little algae (not much) i just thought it was dirty and needed more circulation. Since I got a new light because I want corals the algae has multiplied and spread through the tank quickly. It looks like dust or dirt to me with small little air bubbles if you look close enough. My snails and star fish are still alive and eating it but not fast enough. I dont know if it is Diatom or Dino, and I do not know how to get rid of either. If anyone could help that would be great!

Also a reactor-phosphate, biopellet, etc will help with algae since it takes out of the nutrients that algae needs to grow. I suggest a phosban reactor 150 with phosban in it for your tank to help control the algae.
