I'm using a second nature 3000 w/d filter for a 33 gallon tank. This seems to be working good. However, I read that a diatomic filter is good for filtering "ick" and other small particles. Just recently, I was given Magnun diatomic canister filter. Should I use it and I also heard not to use it for long periods of time. What do you think? Thanks in advance.
