I have a problem with Dictyota bartayresii. I have tried tangs and crabs. Nothing works. Is there any other idea's out there to rid this stuff from my system? I've thought about boiling my live rock and putting all my corals in a holding tank as a last attempt to rid my tank. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. here's a link. http://66.218.71.231/language/transl...ntl=us&fr=ieas

(1) Trade LR with someone who interested in different types of algae
(2) Keep it in check by harvesting
(3) Put it in a refugium
(4) Trade-in at LFS

cut back some skimming, it needs excellant water conditions to survive, any changes in water chemistry will cause it to die off

My only problem is I have 50 or so sps. I don't want to risk losing any sps due to poor water quality. If I boil the rock I lose bacteria.
