Did I cook my Frogspawn?

It got really hot hear and I failed to make the proper adjustments for my lighting and hood and my tank got really hot. When I got home at night it was showing 96 boiling degrees. Most of my corals didn't look happy but I was able to chill it slowly using bags of ice. Everything is looking ok except for my frogspawn which is very shriveled and seems to be falling apart. On a good note it still has nice color.
So, is it toast?
I am going to be bummed if it dies since I nursed it from poor health when I bought it! It has probably tripled in size in about 6 months.

that is what I normally do. i just didn't remember like a tool. I just prop the lid an inch up and things work fine. I have seen just a few small 'legs' falling off but it is about 95% intact.
I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Youll know tommorrow when you turn on your lights if its going to make it or not... but like you said that its falling apart.. doesnt sound too good.
If it was 96, like you said, and everything else is doing good.... you are extremely lucky.
My LFS here, last summer, tanks got up to 96 on the day the store is closed... so the next morning he got there to over 100 dead fish... over 10 dead anemones... some dead coral... and a lot of pissed off coral.

yeah, the corals didn't look happy, anemone, neither. Fish, well, they didn't say anything to me.
It was actually yesterday that the tank got hot. the frogspawn has looked the same for about 24 hours now. Time will tell. I'll post an update.
I can only assume that 96 was the hottest too. I really don't know. I really need a chiller!

Even if it is dead just keep the skeleton of it in there and it will grow back im sure. I have a bubble coral that died off from a old star fish I had and 4 or 5 months later I noticed some growth and now its about 2 inches.
