i have had this brain coral for about a month, at first it was nice and inflated and looked huge and bright, at night the feeding tentacles would come out just like my trumpets and other corals, then one day last week at had some stringy brown stuff coming out of its mouths, i thought it may have just been pooping or something, now it kinda stays sorta shrivled up looking. it hasnt done much the last few days, did i kill it or something?

My coral has been doing weird stuff like that, he is not very happy in my tank, I don't think. I am pretty sure he was pooping, don't worry, as for eating, they usually feed at night, so its not suprising that he is not opening up. They do like light, so maybe you could find a nice flat rock without sharp edges and mov ehim up depending on what lights you have in your tank.

my water quality is spot on perfect, i do weekly water changes and test every possible parameter.
i have a 75gal, i only have 2 54W t-5's over it but i have a 250W metal halide on its way so ill move him up some and wait on the light. thanks.
