Did I make the right decision??

LIke 3 weeks ago I got a Mag Drive water pump,I set it in-line on the sump and it stared making alot of noice and making air bubbles in my tank,So I had send it back and order a Iwaki WMD30RLXT the flow rate its 960g.p.h.Its this a good choice? or should I order a diferent water pump?
60 gal tank FOWLR.
wet/dry.

well i guess i didnt because the water pump broke and its going back to the store.

I'm gonna use power heads.
