Did I mess up?

:notsure: My feather duster left his tube and did not go back in it. I picked him up and tried to get him to take his tube back but he wouldn't, so I placed him in a small "hole" in a rock , and he is still there....did I screw up?

I really doubt that your feather duster actually left its tube. Is there any fish in your tank that might possibly pull it out of its tube? I'm not sure if it's going to survive, though. Since the tube structure acts as a buttress that holds everything together, your feather duster won't be able to feed. But, I'm not compeltely sure what's going to happen.

Yes, I have a couple of fish that could/would do such a thing, mainly a yellow tang.......I thank you for the help
