I feed mine tetra marine flakes, spirulina algae flakes, and small marine grow pellets. Also, once or twice a week i treat them with mysis or brine shrimp, although, my clown only eats one or two. Everything else in the tank loves them.
Of course all of the above are given in extremely small portions, once or twice a day.
My fish seem pretty happy, full of life and color. :happyfish
This could be totally wrong though, so if someone out there has a better diet please post it. I am only writing what I have given, but I am here to learn like everyone else.

depending on the type of fish you keep the dietary needs do differ highly .fish such as clowns are omnivores so they need a 50% meaty and /50% veggie this balence should be met on a daily basis i feed mine at least 3 times per day 2 times pellets and pm feeding a combination of frozen prepared foods soaked in selcon and garlic extreme.. best foods to chose are those made with fish and other marine life ingredients not fish meal.and those that contain amounts of added vit minerals and amino acids
