When looking at the corals on the website it says diet: Strong light, medium flow does this mean that the coral doesnt need anything except the lighting and the flow to thrive? And besides adding calcium and such to the reef tank do corals usually need anything added as a means of food?

Most corals will greatly benifit from addition of plankton, and other coral foods, as well as target feedings, but these are not absolutely nessisary. What type of corals were you talking about?

Most corals will show a significant difference if fed well. I feed phytoplankton, marine snow, oyster eggs, and cyclopeeze.

Lion,
How do you mix these ingredients? Do you shut off all filtration, powerheads & protein skimmer during this process? How often do you do this? Do you spot feed?
Tks, Steve
