Difference between True Percs and Onyx clowns???

what is the difference between the two? I was told that my perc was a trew perc and that his black markings would grow over time...but then i saw some pics of onyx clowns and they have really profound black markings. whats the difference? heres mine if anyone can help see...

onys has on orange exept for the head and fins they would be black all over the body

Here is a pic of my Onyx clown.
Basically, they are percula clowns with a slightly different phenotype (coloration)

Really?? Where?? That is my little male clown Marble. Got him from a breeder as just a little fry. Neat little misbar, that is why I picked him out.
