ive read that you cant keep more than one species of clown in a tank... is this true? also, i love tomato clowns, percs, and maroon clowns. is there a way to keep all three (in mated pairs preferably)
my priorities are first maroon, then tomato, then percs, and maybe clarkiis. so what como of these clowns can you keep (if any at all)
thanks for reading

what size tank? not that it will really matter since everyone will tell you to not do that. some may consider it the royal rumble to clowns lol

I've read that the Maroon clown is the most aggressive of all the clowns so if you're going with them you might as well not put any other species of clowns in there. If you HAD to you could introduce them at the same time or the more peaceful types first to see what happens.

I kept a tomato and a false perc together for 10 years, no problems. The perc died during a recent prolonged power outage, so I got another one, and he and the 10 year old tomato get along fine. I've heard that this is not supposed to happen, but I've seen no evidence of it. I suspect there might be problems if I had an anemone, but I don't. I don't know what to tell you about the maroon, though.

Never mix clownfish species in same tank. Only one species pair per tank.
That is a Gold Striped Maroon Clownfish avatar on skipper's post.
