Digital Oceans "Light-Wave" Controller For Sale
This controller was hardly used and will sell for $175.00 plus shipping or make an offer. This sells for $350 new.
The Light-Wave is a sophisticated simulator that controls your Lighting System and Powerheads to provide the most natural enviroment for your captive reef ecosystem. Unique WaveSet algorithms simulate water motion found on natural reefs, OverCast simulation provides realistic cloud cover corresponding to weather events, and astronomically correct moon phase is achieved by dimming incandescent lamps.
Features:
4 Channel Light Controller, (up to 400W lamps)
4 Channel Pump Controller w/ unique WaveSet weather pattern simulation .
Astronomically Accurate moon phase simulation using incandescent lamps. (Industry First)
Battery backed Up Real-Time Clock, all setup data is remembered during power outages.
1800 Watt Total Capacity for currents exiting the Light-Wave (15 Amps).
3 conductor heavy duty 6 foot power cord included.
Software support for the IceCast ballast dimmer.
Programmable Sunrise/Sunset times with programmable ramp time (IceCast required).
Active cloud cover simulation corresponding to weather cycle in WaveSet mode (IceCast required).
Maintenance dimming mode allows dimming of lamps for 5 minutes for tank maintenance (IceCast required).
Unused Light outputs may be used for other timed control; doesn't affect cloud cover and dusk/dawn calculations.
Pumps are now run at night to provide gentle currents.
OverCast Cloud Cover Simulation with support for IceCast Electronic Ballast Dimmer. Software Upgradeable.
User Friendly Setup Menus Safety Features

Can I ask why you are getting rid of it. Also, do you need to have the icecast to make it work correctly. Thanks.

I purchased an aquacontroller which can control and monitor my orp, ph and temperature levels as well. You do not need the icecast unless you want dimming capability to simulate weather for example. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Will work with any lighting, but if you want dimming capabilities which requires the icecast then you have to use VHO's. I never used the dimming feature, just had the various lights turn on and off at set times.

Surfer... Not sure exactly what transpired but my bid was the highest at the time I got an e-mail from E-bay stayting that there was a problem with the seller's account and all bids were null and void. I know it was not a retraction on my part (unless someone else outbid me, which I don't think happened) and the e-mail stated that it a problem with the seller's account. With that being said, as much as I may want what your selling, it seems to be a bit risky. Nothing personal but I don't want to get taken. Maybe someone else has more confidence to buy. Good luck.

The high bidder was not you because I was in contact with him after the fact. His bid was up $185.00 and he retracted stated he no longer needed the item. I sent a complaint to ---- and will repost the item. It was nothing negative on my part. Any questions email me.
