Very nice presentation. Yours, I assume...last night?
What did you marinade and/or baste the shrimp with?
I usually simply saute asparagus in butter and EVOO and whooping amounts of minced garlic, what do you do?
Exchange the garlic with a grilled pepper and it would be perfect!
-fortunately I ate an early lunch, so I'm not drooling all over my keyboard...

I season my steak with olive oil, kosher salt, fresh cracked pepper, and garlic. Then after I toss it on the grill, I toss the asparagus in the rest of the oil left in my containter roll it around then toss it on the grilll. I HATE bell peppers.
I wrapped the shrimp with some roasted hatch pepper cream cheese, and bacon.

If the bell pepper comment is referring to the pic I posted yesterday, well...you never tried mine. If you are referring to my comment above, no not a bell pepper on the steak, more like a grilled jalapeno or a habanero.
In any event, your dinner sounds wonderful.

You posted a picture of bell peppers yesterday? No I hate them, and you can go all green eggs and ham on me but it doesn't matter how or where lol...

My 11 year old son watched a cooking show last night "Worst Cooks in America" and decided he wanted to make me dinner. They went step by step making chicken cacciatore and tonight he made it and it was absolutely delicious! Aside from a slight change, I wasn't super comfortable with him cutting veggies, he didn't want me to help so he pulverized everything in my food processor. I'm really proud of him!

Dude................you skewered your livestock! Were your tank inhabitants gasping in disbelief as you walked into the living room with your dinner?

Dude my livestock is loong gone. I had to tear down, when I started traveling for work. But I've noticed that I'm no longer buying fresh seafood for my fish tank, and now I'm making it for me. lol They probably would have been licking their lips and wondering where their portion was lol.

Get your future Chef a chopper, nothing better than having another cook in the house.
