I just upgraded from a 37g quadra to a 70g quadra and have an outbreak of what I think are dinoflagellates. It looks like brown algae that is producing bubbles. I am running two VHO 24" bulbs and a 250watt 10k metal halide. Filtration is a remora protein skimmer and a canister filter running carbon and phosphate removers. Please help.

Are you saying this on the rocks, sand, etc? As in cyanobacteria or diatoms?
