Ok so I figured out why the set up was so high .... its because I dont have passing credit because of numorous school loans .... so does anybody know where DTV can be set up without a credit check>

Holy Crap..Thanks for opening this one back up..I wanted to reply so bad to that last one..Anyways, There is No Way around it that I have found...I do not know what that last guy was taling about, but when I went High Definition after having DirecTVfor Two Years, I still had to pay that $450 for the new box..I checked to see what Dish would charge and it was almost the same...Forget about digital cable High Def...
