I'm new to the hobby so this maybe a dumb question, I still have to ask.
My 180gal FOWLR has been running about two months now, I have 3 yellow tangs, 1 naso tang, 3 clownfish, and a cleanup crew (large, purchased here). My question, When will the water clear. It has small particles. I've changed the filter pads (50 micron) in the wet dry at least 6 times since the tank has been started. I've cleaned the sponges in the overflow boxes and in the slimmer each time as well. I still have stuff floating. I can see the water currents. I believe some not all of these particles could be micro bubbles as well. So I left my skimmer off for a few days and there really wasn't much if any difference. This is really taking away from my enjoyment of my new costly purchase. I know crystal clean water can be achieved since I did have a 135gal FO tank with 2 Fluval canister filters. The water was immaculate. This is my first experience with Wet/Dry filters.
Anyone have any ideas?
